Returns & Refunds
Last updated: 13 September 2026
This policy explains cancellations, returns and refunds for purchases from Deudare. Nothing in this policy removes your statutory consumer rights.
Changing your mind
You may cancel an eligible online purchase without giving a reason. Tell us within 14 days after the day you, or someone you nominate to receive the goods, takes delivery. If goods from one order arrive in separate parts, this period runs from the day after the final delivery. You then have a further 14 days after notifying us to send the goods back.
You may also cancel a pre-order before dispatch. The change-of-mind cancellation right is subject to the qualifying hygiene-seal exception explained below.
How to cancel or arrange a return
Email thehouse@deudare.com or send a clear cancellation statement to our registered office, listed below. Please include your name and order number if available.
You may use the model cancellation form at the end of this policy, but you do not have to. Sending your cancellation notice before the deadline is sufficient; you do not need to wait for our approval to give notice.
Contact customer care for return instructions and the appropriate return address before posting goods. Use the address provided by customer care for goods; written cancellation notices can be sent to our registered office.
For a change-of-mind return, you pay the return postage. We recommend keeping proof of postage. Please include all components supplied as part of the product you are cancelling, including its book and art print where these form part of that product.
Atelier pieces
You may inspect and try on garments as you would in a shop. Please handle them carefully and retain tags and packaging where possible.
We do not offer exchanges for a different size or style. Please return an eligible item for a refund and place a new order.
Intimate objects and hygiene seals
The cancellation period above also applies to intimate objects, subject to the following exception.
The change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods supplied sealed which are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, once that seal has been broken after delivery. This exception applies only where the goods and seal qualify. It does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged or misdescribed.
Change-of-mind refunds
For an eligible cancellation, we will refund you without undue delay. Where goods have been sent, the refund will be made no later than 14 days after we receive them back or you provide evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier. If you cancel before dispatch, we will refund you no later than 14 days after you tell us.
If you cancel your whole order, we will also refund the standard outbound delivery charge you paid. Any extra amount paid for a delivery service more expensive than our standard service is not refundable for a change-of-mind cancellation.
We may reduce a change-of-mind refund to reflect a loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the item's nature, characteristics and functioning. Any permitted deduction will be explained.
Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We do not charge a refund fee.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
We are legally responsible for supplying goods that match their description, are of satisfactory quality and are fit for purpose. If an item is faulty, damaged or misdescribed, contact thehouse@deudare.com with your order details and a description of the issue. Photographs can help us assess a problem where appropriate.
We will provide the refund, repair or replacement to which you are entitled under UK consumer law and cover reasonable return postage for faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods. Please tell us promptly after discovering a problem so we can help. These rights are separate from the time limit for a change-of-mind cancellation.
Where you exercise a statutory right to reject goods for a refund, we will refund you without undue delay and within 14 days beginning with the day we agree that you are entitled to the refund. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise and do not charge a refund fee.
Warranties and sale items
Any commercial warranty stated on a product page is an additional commitment on its advertised terms. It does not replace or shorten your statutory rights, which may continue after the warranty ends.
Sale items carry the same statutory consumer rights as full-price items.
