Atelier Care

Deudare Atelier pieces are designed, cut, and made entirely in London using delicate fabrics and considered construction.

Proper care will help preserve their fit, finish, and longevity.

Washing

We recommend hand washing all Atelier pieces.

Use cool to lukewarm water with a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics. Wash gently without rubbing, stretching, or wringing. Rinse thoroughly and press out excess water using a clean towel.

Do not use bleach, harsh chemicals, or stain removers, as these may damage fibres and structure.

Drying

Allow garments to air dry naturally.

Lay flat on a clean towel, away from direct heat or sunlight. Do not tumble dry. Avoid hanging wet garments by straps, as this may distort shape over time.

Storage

Store Atelier pieces carefully when not in use.

Fold garments along their natural lines. Avoid overcrowding drawers or storing alongside rough materials such as zips or jewellery. Breathable storage is recommended to maintain fabric quality.

Fabric-Specific Guidance

Silk

Hand wash using a pH-neutral detergent. Do not soak for extended periods. Steam lightly or iron on a low setting, inside out, using a press cloth.

Lace & Mesh

Extremely delicate. Hand wash only and avoid snagging. Store flat or gently folded.

Satin & Embellished Details

Spot clean where possible. Avoid friction and contact with coarse fabrics.

Wearing & Aftercare

Avoid contact with sharp jewellery, rough surfaces, or heavy oils and perfumes. Apply fragrance or body products before dressing to protect fabric integrity.

Atelier pieces are designed with intention and should be handled with care.
